Corporate Entertaining

Corporate events are often grand occasions with important significance to a business, society, professional body and very often include additional activities within the evening such as auctions, raffles, speeches which are normally carried out after the dinner and before the musical entertainment begins.

The organiser or speaker will often request the DJ if they can use the microphone to address the guests, (it is always a good idea to arrange this prior to the event), not every DJ uses a radio microphone and the speaker may be restricted by the microphone lead.

The entertainment can incorporate live bands, casino’s, magicians, who will happily liaise with each other and the organisers with regard to timings with the DJ normally acting as compere bringing everything together.

From professional experience DJ’s welcome prior knowledge of other entertainment as many hotel venues still only allocate the same space and it may be necessary to compromise equipment size. With prior knowledge the band and DJ can discuss lighting requirements which saves duplication.

However it must be noted that with modern technology, equipment and lighting is far more advanced and does not require the same space requirements. Our DJ’s are highly experienced in working with other entertainers and hotel venues across the Midlands.
